Lloyd Axworthy discusses an important diplomatic opportunity that has opened for Canada in recent weeks, given the growing interest and accompanying pressure for U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration to finally bring the United States in as a signatory to the Ottawa Treaty banning the use of land mines.
